Labor Day marks the unofficial end of summer! It’s a time for getting together with family and friends and taking stock of the fun summer memories we’ve made!
This is also the perfect time to ground ourselves and get ready for fall and maybe even embark on a detox journey after months of lounging in the sun or overindulging in those fun margaritas by the pool!
But before that, we all want to properly celebrate with friends and share a delicious BBQ!
That by itself calls for some yummy sides for the traditional BBQ that are also healthy and super easy to make.
We all know that the holidays are best when they are spent with good friends and, of course, good food!
And my “healthy-zesty” theory is that good food is the food that not only tastes good, but it’s also good for you. Food should leave us feeling good and full of energy, and not give us tummy aches and lethargy only minutes later.
